The School of Business and Administration
The School of Business and Administration of Queen’s Community College offers Business Administration and Accounting Certificate Courses and Office Manager Diploma Program studies in the Business and Administration domain. The School provides students with a broad understanding of business practices, combined with experience and skills learned in the classroom, students will be able to progress to more responsible roles in accounting, operations, personnel or general administration.
Among the strategic partners of the School of Business and Administration of QCC are Aalborg Handelsskole, Business College (Denmark), International Business School – IBS (Budapest), Georgian College (Canada), Edenz College (New Zealand), Choice Business College (Australia), Australian Professional Skills Institute (APSI), Australiain collaborative practice-based education within the work field in order to provide a quality educational service.
We are aware of the importance of practice based education and with this purpose we cooperate with relevant partners to realize this. The program aims to prepare specialists, who will be able to run the business and manage all the business processes in the organizations. Furthermore, the on campus Office Manager Laboratory at Queen’s equipped with new and modern technologies and appliances show how much importance Queen’s pays to this program.
The School will also enable students to master the basic principles of business management, to explore the language of business and develop a modern market-oriented view of business and management. Students will get the basic knowledge and skills in the major areas of business -marketing, operations, human resources management and accounting. They will master their analytical skills in order to be able to solve various business problems. Students will acquire the specific competencies regarding theoretical and practical issues in the area.
